The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce that Laniesha Paddon has re-signed for the 2025 NBL1 West season.
Since joining the Wolfpack in 2018, Laniesha has continued to grow year after year, always stepping up and playing her role within the team with the utmost confidence, which is reflected in her achievements throughout the 2024 season.
Laniesha found an impressive balance during her 2024 NBL1 campaign, playing 17 games and averaging 5.29 points and 5.06 assists per game. In 2023, Laniesha was named the Wolves D-League MVP after she averaged 15.8 points per game
over the 27-game season.
Speaking on the re-signing, Women’s Head Coach Jesse Pence said, “We are pleased to be able to keep Laniesha in our core group for this season. She showed some of what she can do on the court last year and will undoubtedly look to build upon that. She’s a serious competitor who brings it at training and throughout the offseason. We are excited to see her contributions this season.”
When asked about re-signing with the Wolfpack for 2025, Laniesha said, “I’m excited to be back at Wolves for the 2025 season. The club feels like home to me, and I love the sense of community that radiates throughout the club
I’m looking forward to building upon last season’s efforts on a personal and team level. I’m ready to take on my role and help us reach that goal while learning new things from players and coaches.
I can’t deny we host the best game nights. The crowd and atmosphere we create is unmatched. Our fans make it a rough time to be an opposing team at HBF Arena.”
