The Meneghello Industrial Group City of Joondalup Wolves are proud to announce the return of Wolves Junior and NBL1 veteran, 6’0 guard Taylor Bestry, who has signed with the Wolves for the 2026 NBL1 West Season.

“I’m excited to join the Wolves this season. We have a great group of girls, and it has a good vibe. I like the style of play that Mitch brings, and the club as a whole is very professional.

“It’s a full circle moment coming back to the Wolves. It’s the place I started, and I fell in love with basketball, so to come back here towards the end of my career is special.

“The fans can expect to see me hitting some 3s and doing whatever the team needs from me on the court, and off the court, they can expect a friendly face who’s always happy for a chat, and having daughters myself, I hope to be a role model for the younger generations coming through the system.”

Taylor began her career with the Wolves in the SBL in 2010, at the age of 16. From there, she would go on to play college basketball at Eckerd College on Florida’s Gulf Coast. From there, Bestry would come back to WA to play for the Warwick Senators before joining the East Perth Eagles in 2023. Over her time with the Eagles, Taylor averaged 5.22 points per game, alongside 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists across her 57 games for the club.

Taylor is an invaluable asset to our building women’s roster, bringing strong leadership backed up by her high level of international and local experience. Wolfpack fans are excited to see Taylor return to the Pack for the upcoming 2026 NBL1 West Season.

“We are delighted to welcome Taylor Bestry back to the Wolfpack for the 2026 season, as a proud Wolfpack junior returning home alongside her two daughters.

“Taylor brings proven scoring ability, sharpshooting, infectious energy, and strong leadership, with the experience and composure to make an immediate impact.

“Her ability to create offense, knock down perimeter shots, and lead by example, combined with her deep connection to the club, makes her return especially meaningful both on and off the court.”

Taylor is our fourth Women’s player signed ahead of the 2026 NBL1 West Season. To secure your seats and watch Taylor return to the Pack for the 2026 NBL1 West Season, you can purchase your membership here.
