The Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of Adili Kuerban for the 2025 NBL1 West Season.

AD is a 6’3 US-Chinese guard who has played in countries including China, the Philippines, Japan, and the United States. AD has been with the Japan-B3 League team Tokushima Gambarous since 2023 and is currently in the starting five.

Kuerban has played 41 games over the 2024-25 Japan-B3 League season for Tokushima Gambarous, averaging 7.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. Before playing in Japan, AD spent 2023 playing for the Bay Area Dragons in the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association).

Before his time with the Dragons, AD played for the Fujian Sturgeons in China from 2021 to 2023, averaging 7.5 points, 1.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game. Before signing with the Sturgeons, he was recruited by the NCAA Division 1 college Kennesaw State University, where he spent two seasons with the Owls.

Wolfpack fans are eager to welcome AD to The Pack, who will join the club at the completion of the Japan-B3 League.

Speaking on the signing, Men’s Head Coach David Morrell said, “Our mindset in adding the final piece of our roster is that we had a lot of talent, but we needed to add more shooting.

AD is the perfect fit for that and will add a whole lot of shooting to our lineup. He’s a guy who is getting top-locked and face-guarded out in Japan on a nightly basis right now, and obviously, his shooting puts a large strain on the defence and their game plans.

We are thrilled to add AD to our group as another dangerous weapon, but also a guy who will make offence easier for other players by providing a lot more space for other guys to operate in. He has played in some very high-level professional environments in China and Japan, and we are excited to welcome him to Australia for the first time in his career.

He will fit in seamlessly with the rest of the group we have. Welcome to the Wolfpack AD!”

When asked how it feels to Run with the Pack for the 2025 season, Adili said, “What’s up Wolves fans! I’m really excited to be heading to Australia to join the team. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and compete in front of all the Wolves fans.

Big thanks to Coach Morrell and the organization for this opportunity. I’m ready to bring my work ethic and professionalism to help the team achieve our goals.

Right now, I’m still locked in on finishing the season strong here in Japan, but as soon as that wraps up, I’ll be making my way to Joondalup. I appreciate your support and patience, and I can’t wait to get started. See you all soon!”
